Commissions can be tailored in scale, color palette, materials, and embedded messaging. Sculptures are available in sizes ranging from 4 feet to more than 10 feet, designed specifically for your space and installation requirements. Each piece features a bespoke selection of mirror, glass, crystal, stone, and found objects chosen to complement its surroundings. Personal messages, symbols, and meaningful details can be thoughtfully incorporated into the surface, allowing every sculpture to tell a unique story. The bond we share with our dogs is unlike any other, and their love remains with us long after they are gone. Our custom dog sculptures are created to honor that special connection and celebrate the life, spirit, and personality of your beloved companion. Personal Passion
We love collaborating with clients who are inspired by our sculptures and want to make them uniquely their own. One memorable commission came from a professional race car driver who asked us to reinterpret our signature Circle of Life motifs using automotive racing gauges. We designed and fabricated custom gauge elements commonly found in race cars and incorporated them throughout the sculpture. In place of our traditional 11:11 clock on the dog's collar, a symbol of oneness and positive energy, we featured his racing number, 32, creating a deeply personal tribute to his passion and career. It's these kinds of creative collaborations that make every custom commission a truly one-of-a-kind work of art.
Legacy
Boonie the Beaver was commissioned by a North Carolina real estate developer to honor the history of Lake Boone, a beloved local lake that once stood where the Lake Boone Shopping Center is today. The beaver was chosen to symbolize resilience and stewardship, giving the site's forgotten history a lasting, tangible presence.
Whether the inspiration is a local legend, a piece of civic history, or an idea entirely its own, Elizabeth and Duffy partner with developers, municipalities, and organizations to turn it into a landmark worth stopping for.
On the sculpture: Inscribed on the back is the word "Dreambuilder," a nod to both the beaver's instinct to build and the developer's own vision for the site. On the front, the name "Boonie" honors the lake and the memories tied to it.
