What are Positivity Dogs?

Positivity Dogs are large-scale sculptures — typically 5 to 9 feet tall — hand-tiled in mirror, glass tile, crystal, and found objects. Each piece takes hundreds of hours to construct, transforming a simple, universal form into a radiant, reflective work of art.

Why Dogs?

Dogs are among life's greatest teachers. Living fully in the present, they offer unwavering loyalty, unconditional love, and a remarkable ability to sense our emotions — comforting us in difficult times, quieting our fears, and inspiring us to open our hearts. More than companions, they remind us to choose love over fear, kindness over judgment, and connection over division. Every Positivity Dog celebrates that bond, honoring the wisdom, joy, and hope dogs bring into our lives, and inviting every visitor to remember that even the smallest act of love can create a ripple of positivity in the world.

Circles of Life

Each sculpture is built around Elizabeth's signature "Circles of Life" motif — individual circles representing loved ones, animals, and our precious Mother Earth. The series began in 2003, the same year the artist's daughter was born, and her own mother was dying of breast cancer, as a way of holding both loss and new life at once. What started as a series of paintings has since found its way into her sculptural work, with every circle carrying its own story.

11:11

11:11 is commonly known as an “angel number”, or a spiritual number, and it’s also a master number in numerology. It's a mystical time, a time when many people make a wish for themselves or for others who are in need. Elizabeth and her mother would frequently call each other when they saw 11:11 and make wishes together and it became habitual. This started in the early 1990’s and ever since Elizabeth’s mother’s death in 2003, Elizabeth has set her alarm every single day so she can pause, set an intention, and send positivity into the world.

Each dog has an 11:11 somewhere on it, most often on their collars as a watch, and that’s how the “Watch Dogs” began as well.

Reflective Mosaic Tile

Each sculpture is finished in glass tile, mirror, or crystal, cut and placed by hand, so no two pieces are ever quite the same. The surface catches and shifts with the light throughout the day. Some pieces incorporate mirrored tile directly, inviting viewers to see themselves as part of the artwork and reflect on their own empowerment and the positive message of each sculpture.

Dream Big

Dream Big stands nine feet tall and was the piece that set Elizabeth's dog series in motion, spending three months on view at Laguna Beach City Hall in the summer of 2023.

Fifi

Fifi the Frenchie stands 7' 9" and is a beacon of positivity, encouraging the world to "Be Kind." Featured in the Outer Banks for three months during the summer of 2024, the Beverly Hills Art Show in Los Angeles in 2024, and currently at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Newport Beach, California, Fifi resonates with visitors in her mission to make the world a better, more loving place.

Rocky

Rocky stands seven feet tall and spreads the message to "Never Give Up." Currently on view at a public intersection in downtown Yountville, California, Rocky brings smiles and motivation to thousands.

Lucca

Lucca stands nine feet six inches tall and spreads the message to "Dream Bigger." Featured at Imago Galleries in Palm Desert, California, the Beverly Hills Art Show in 2024, and Rocky Mount Mills in North Carolina in 2025, Lucca now resides at Healey's Iconostar Art Park in Wilson, North Carolina, inspiring visitors to dream beyond what they think is possible and surpass their perceived limits.

Jane

Jane stands eight feet six inches tall and carries the message "Love Your Mother." Her words resonate on two levels: an homage to appreciating one's own mother, and a call to care for the earth. Jane was accepted onto the Playa of Burning Man in 2025.

Honey

Honey stands eight feet six inches tall and inspires visitors to "Make It Happen." Honey received an Honoraria award from Burning Man 2026 and will be featured on the playa for thousands to see.

Bowie

Bowie stands 7' 2", his multicolored eyes and lightning bolt drawn from the Stardust album a tribute to his namesake, the iconic singer David Bowie. He encourages viewers to "Do Great Things!" Featured in the LACMA show of 2025 and the Sherman Library and Gardens in 2026.

Roxy

Roxy, the "Sexy Bitch," stands five feet six inches tall and represents the LGBT+ community. Featured at the SD Art Advisory in San Diego, California, the San Diego Pride Parade in 2024, and the playa of Burning Man in 2024, Roxy now resides in a private estate in Santa Barbara, California.

Inga

Inga stands 6' 5" and encourages the world to "Spread Love." Featured in Hillsborough, NC's Uproar Public Sculpture Festival and currently at the Dog Days of Summer exhibition at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Newport Beach, California.

Manifest

Manifest stands five feet one inch tall and inspires visitors to "Manifest" their dreams. Acquired by the Ocean Pacific Gym in San Diego, California.

Shiva

Shiva stands five feet nine inches tall and was inspired by John Lennon's iconic song "Imagine," encouraging viewers to imagine the world as one. Featured in the Walstory Gallery in Manhattan Beach, California, and the Sherman Library and Gardens in Newport Beach, California.

Spot

Shiva

Spot was Elizabeth's first large-scale dog sculpture, standing eight feet tall. Acquired by the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina.

Parker

Namaste

Parker stands four feet tall and carries the message "Believe." Featured in the Sherman Library and Gardens.

Namaste

Namaste stands four feet tall. Namaste is a salutation often used to signify gratitude and unity. It means the divine light in me honors the divine light in you. It is a way to express reverence and humility, indicating that we are more similar than different. Featured in the Sherman Library and Gardens.

Gratitude

Spencer stands four feet ten inches tall and was created as a private commission in honor of the client's own dog, carrying the message "Dream On."

Gratitude

Gratitude stands 5' 10" and is finished in a rare, rose-colored water glass, with distinctive gemstone and glass pieces set into her iconic Circles of Life motifs. Gratitude is currently on view at the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach, California.

Speed

Speed, a nine-foot "Race" dog, was privately commissioned to overlook the Thermal Club's race track in Thermal, California.

Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs Series

For 20 years, Elizabeth has created life-sized "Watch Dogs," each featuring at least one watch embedded in the design, her signature mark. Built from glass, mosaic tile, and curated found objects over a foam and metal base, every piece is true to scale. Elizabeth has made more than 250 Watch Dogs to date, sold through galleries across the United States and in Mexico.
